the basics to help you get started.
Web Space and Bandwidth (Data Transfer)
Q. How much Web space do I get ?
A. You're allocated up to 50 Mbs of
Web
space. Upgrades are available in increments
of 50mb.

Q. What can it be used for ?
A. Any purpose that does not
contravene
the current Terms & Conditions.

Q. How much bandwidth can I use ?
A. Data transfer per month starts at
1000
Mbs, and upgrades are available in increments of 500Mbs.
Q. How do I upload my Web site files ?
A1. Via a standard FTP program use the
following settings:

FTP Server: yourdomain.com
Username: account username
Password: account password
A2. With Microsoft Frontpage you should
use:
Server: your registered domain name
eg:
http://www.yourdomain.com
Username: account username
Password: account password

Q. What are the server paths required
for some cgi, php or ssi scripts
A. Server Paths to sendmail, perl etc.
(DO NOT create these folders) are:

Perl: /usr/bin/perl
SendMail: /usr/sbin/sendmail
Date: /bin/date
Webspace: The path to the web space
for
an account is dependant on the account username, for an account with
the
username 'johndoe' the path to it's web space would be:
/home/johndoe/public_html

Q. What are the DNS settings for my
domain
name ?
A. Primary Nameserver:
ns5.tritoncore.com
Secondary Nameserver: ns6.tritoncore.com
FrontPage Extensions
Q. Can I use Frontpage Extensions ?
A. Yes, basic Frontpage Extensions
instructions
and settings are in your control panel help section. Note: we do not
provide
support for the use of Frontpage extensions or the program once
installed
on your account.

Q. Why can't I use FTP ?
A. If you have Frontpage Extensions
installed
on your account you must use Frontpage to upload your files, using a
normal
FTP client (WSFTP, CuteFTP etc.) will not work. See the control panel
help
section for more info.

Q. Why can't I create Sub-Webs
(Sub-directories)
when using Frontpage ?
A. Some FrontPage features are not
supported
or disabled on the Unix server, including Sub-Webs.
Web Space and Bandwidth (Data Transfer) Limits
Q. What happens if I exceed my web
space or bandwidth
allowance ?
A. If your exceed your web space
allowance you will be unable to upload any more files, If you exceed
your bandwidth allowance your site will become temporarily disabled.
Upgrades are available in increments
of 50mb webspace plus 500mbs bandwidth at $20 per annum.

Q. Is there a maximum bandwidth
allowance
?
A. Yes, we allow upgrades to a maximum
of 3,000Mbs per month. Should you exceed this limit you will be
required
to make arrangements to curb your usage where possible or change to a
different
type of account.

Q. Do you provide web-based email
?
A. Yes

Q. How do I access the control panel:

Domain Names
Q. How do I transfer my domain name to
you ?
A. Ask your current ISP or Host to
change
the DNS settings for your domain name to those listed above. You should
not transfer the domain name to us, only change the DNS settings. If
you
wish to move your domain name from your current ISP please use Registerfly
or 123Reg.

Q. How do I release my domain name
from
you ?
A. To release your domain name from AA
Hosting, for use with another ISP, you must email us using the contact
form. Give your UserID, Password and Domain Name you wish to release.
By
releasing your domain name your hosting account will be closed so make
sure you download any important files first.

Q. Do you register Domain Names ?
A. We provide a form at the bottom of
our home page which is linked to Registerfly. - com, .net, and .org
addresses
are currently $9.99 to register for one year, and co.uk addresss are
currently
£6.79 for 2 yrs.

Q. Can I create
sub-domains?
A. Yes, from
your User Control Panel.

Q. Do you own your servers ?
A. No, we use high quality web space
and bandwidth
supplied by a leading California based provider; this is how we can
keep the price
so low. If we purchased our own servers and connectivity we could not
possibly
provide the low cost Web hosting services that we now offer.
