site account is just $5, which gives you unlimited file-storage space,
unlimited email accounts and auto-responders, and many advanced web design
features not commonly obtainable at such a low, low price.

Q. Can I pay monthly?
A. We only normally accept monthly
payments. We are so confident in our service, that we do not usually accept
anything but monthly payments. You should never lock yourself into a service
for a 3, 6 or 12-month period of time unless you are completely confident
that you will get everything you have paid for. Even when we do offer a
discount for 6 or 12 months' advance payment of a service, we still offer
a 7 day money-back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with what
we provide. Note: The account activation fee is non-refundable.

Q. What methods of payment do you
accept?
A. You can pay by Check or Credit/Charge
Card. If you do not have a bank account or Credit Card, you may pay by
money-order through the mail or by cash at our local Radcliff office by
prior arrangement only. Credit and Debit Card payments will appear on your
monthly Statement in favor of "PayPal" - This is the company
we use to process Credit Cards online.

Q. Is there a setup fee?
A. We do not charge a setup fee
for our Web Hosting services. We do charge a $10 account activation fee
for our dial-up internet service. This must be paid at the time you place
your order.

Q. When do you charge my Credit
Card?
A. We charge to your Credit or
Debit Card a one-time account activation fee of $10 right away. The appropriate
fee for either one month, 6 months, or 12 months of dial-up Internet access
is charged to your Credit or Debit card one week later, and your card will
be charged either monthly, 6-monthly, or annually from then on, according
to which plan you choose.

Q. What is a secure server? Can
I use my Credit Card safely?
A. You can order using your Credit
Card, and the internet workings of the e-commerce site, are on a secure
server. Our home page and other related pages are on an unencrypted server
so as you go from one to the other, your browser will inform you whether
the current page you are on is secure or not. The Credit Card and personal
information part is secure, and that's what matters.

Q. What are the penalties for late
payments, returned Checks, etc.?
A. If your Credit Card/Debit Card
payment is declined when due and is not received by 5 days past the due
date, your account will be de-activated and you will incur a $10 re-activation
fee in addition to the monthly amount due. We charge a $30 additional fee
for all returned Checks or Credit Card charge-backs.

I get?
A. You get one Pop.3 email account
as standard. You can create an unlimited amount of additional email addresses
and have the email from your website (anything@yourchoice.aahubs.com) forwarded
to either a web-based or pop3 email account.

How do I read and send emails?
A. You can either
use email client software such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape
Messenger, Eudora, etc., or you can read and send email online using our
handy Web-based interface. You will find a link to our Web-based email
interface in the Quick Menu on the left side of your members' home page.
Full details of setting up Microsoft Outlook, Netscape and Eudora to receive
and send emails through are service are given in our help
section.

address?
A. Just visit the account signup
link in the top left hand corner of your members' home page. If you purchase
our professional hosting package you can create unlimited email accounts
from your User Control Panel.

Q. Are there any long distance
charges when using AA Web Services' dial-up Internet service?
A. We suggest that you check with
your local phone company to make sure that the number you dial to connect
is a local call. Under no circumstances will we reimburse for long distance
charges. If you wish to connect from outside the Elizabethtown, Radcliff,
Fort Knox, Vine Grove, Muldraugh, Brandenburg, Irvington, Louisville, North
Garrett, Battletown, and Paynesville areas, please check with your local
telephone company and supply us with a list of all the numbers that are
local to you when you apply for our service. That way you will be certain
not to incur long-distance charges.

A. We currently give a 10% discount

12 months pre-paid special offers we may run.

software?
A. Yes. After you order, we will
provide you with a setup program that will automatically configure your
dial-up software to access our network. Nearly all modern computer systems
come with either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape, or both, and
you may also download the latest versions of Internet Explorer or Netscape
on their respective websites for free.

up?
A. The set-up runs like most programs.
You just need to enter some basic information, like name and password.

A. At this time, *AA Web Services*
does not offer any "in-house" chat rooms. However, you can still
download ICQ, AOL Instant Messenger or Internet Relay Chat (IRQ), which
will give you access to the Internet's largest group of chat rooms. You
will also be able to utilize all of the chat rooms which can be found on
the World Wide Web such as those provided by Excite, Yahoo, etc.

A. We utilize the internet and
frame-relay backbone of MCI/WorldCom/UUNet/Qwest and other backbone suppliers.

A. No, we share web space and bandwidth
with leading UK and US based ISP's. This is how we can keep the price
so low. If we purchased our own servers and connectivity we could not possibly
maintain the low prices we now offer.

for personal or business use?
A. It can be used for either purpose.
There is a maximum monthly data transfer limit of 500mb, so whilst this
option is suitable for personal home pages and most small businesses, it
does not usually work for larger companies.

free Web hosting account - Click the icon on the top left corner of your
members' home page to do this. You can then log-in to your account by clicking

A. With the simple click of the
mouse! Our members home page offers a comprehensive contents service that
includes all of these services and more!

Q. Can I get a 30-day free trial,
or 1000 free hours with you similar to what AOL offers?
A. Our monthly rate of $12.99 is
so low we cannot offer free trials. We offer many more local access numbers
throughout North America than AOL, and unlike them we do not charge additional
roaming surcharges or place advertising on your browser. (AOL currently
charges a $2.95-$3.95 HOURLY surcharge when dialing from Canada, for instance).
With the quality of service, and the value offered by us, we simply can’t
afford to give our access away without raising everyone’s price. We do
not force our subscribers that pay to carry the load of the ones that don’t!

Q. Will I get those forced advertising
frames, pop-up ads and banners, and other annoying things appearing on
my web-browser that are associated with some other low-priced ISP's?
A. CERTAINLY NOT! We do not
impose any ads whatsoever on our dial-up subscribers.

Q. I have an existing dial-up ISP
that offers less than you do, and for a higher price. Should I wait for
my current month's service to expire at the end of the month before cancelling
my account with them and switching to your service?
A. No. There is no need to. We
will not charge you for the remainder of the current month anyway.

Q. How often will the process of
downloading files across the net be interrupted or terminated prematurely?
A. Ideally
this would never happen. Many times when it does happen it is a problem
with the server sending or holding the data, and not the ISP. In other
cases it may be caused by inferior telephone lines at your location. Telephone
companies typically do not like to get involved with modem connection problems.
A neat trick to overcome this and test your phone line stability is to
apply for call-waiting (you can often get this on a free month's trial
from your telephone company). Then see whether call-waiting works as it
should at your location. If you experience problems with it then you will
be able to get the phone company to rectify it for you, and at the same
time this should fix the disconnection problems you have been experiencing
with the Internet. If you do get call-waiting on a free trial and you don't
really want it, you can just cancel it afterwards.

Q. Am I limited to a certain number
of hours per month?
A. Your service is for unlimited
internet access for one user. After 5 consecutive hours, you are disconnected
from our network. However, you may dial back in within two minutes. We
do ask that you disconnect from our network if you are not actively using
the Internet. We do not have a specific monthly usage limit, however we
do reserve the right to put a 250 hour monthly cap on the accounts of members
that we feel are using our dial-up service excessively. No dial-up ISP in
the country allows a 24/7 connection to the Internet, and if you are requiring
this then it would be advisable to get a dedicated broadband connection
such as DSL or cable instead.

We do not allow spamming. Do not attempt
to use our services to send multiple similar e-mails (spamming). If you
are thinking about using our servers to spam, think again. Please read

Q. How much Web space do I get
?
A. We impose no limit on the amount
of Web space you can use on our monthly paid accounts.

Q. How much bandwidth can I use
?
A. Data transfer per month starts
at 500mb rising to 10,000 mb with upgrades available (currently $20 per
500mb p.a.). For very large companies requiring multiple domain hosting,
multiple user access, and very large bandwidth, we can make special arrangements.
There is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth, so don't be deceived by
those companies that say they offer it! Please contact us with your specific
requirements and we will be pleased to offer you the best price possible.

of weekly visitors to my site, monthly bandwidth usage, etc?
A. Yes. You can access graphical
web site statistics through your User Control Panel?

FrontPage Extensions
Q. Can I use Frontpage Extensions
?
A. Yes, basic Frontpage Extensions
instructions and settings are in your control panel help section. Note:
we do not provide support for the use of Frontpage extensions or the program
once installed on your account.

Q. Why can't I use FTP ?
A. If you have Frontpage Extensions
installed on your account you must use Frontpage to upload your files.
Using a normal FTP client (WSFTP, CuteFTP etc.) will not work. See the
control panel help section for more info.

Q. Why can't I create Sub-Webs
(Sub-directories) when using Frontpage ?
A. Some FrontPage features are
not supported or disabled on the Unix server, including Sub-Webs.

Q. How many email accounts am I
allowed?
A. You can create an unlimited
amount of email accounts, auto-responders and mail-forwarders for your
domain by following the simple instructions given in your user control
panel.

Q. Do I need to have my own domain
to use your hosting service?
A. No, you will automatically be
issued a sub-domain like yourname.aawebservices.com on opening your account
which may be sufficient for personal use, but in order to present a professional
business image, and to utilize all the features offered in the hosting
package, you are advised to register a domain if you do not already have
one. We offer full registration and management of .com .net and .org domains
for only $17.50 per year which is half the price that many big companies
such as register.com and others are currently charging. There are one or
two bulk-registration companies around that will register you a domain
for $10 or even less, but most of these have serious drawbacks, particular
for the inexperienced, and offer very little in the way of sensible after-sales
service, and therefore cannot be recommended. If you already have a domain,
you can transfer it to our hosting service for free by asking the registrant
to change the DNS settings to point to our servers. In any event, we can
only deal with domain registration problems if the domain has been registered
by us.
Q. How do I transfer my domain
name to you ?
A. Ask your current ISP or Host
to change the DNS settings for your domain name to these:

You should not transfer the domain name

Q. How do I register a Domain Name
through you?
A. Dot com, .net, and .org
addresses are currently $17.50 to register for one year through us. We
will only register domains for those that wish to use our web hosting service.
If you wish us to register and host a domain for you, please click
here first to check if it is available. Note: you should NOT go
ahead and register it with register.com as you will end up paying twice
as much for it and will then have the hassle of getting it transferred
to us as well. Once you have found an available domain name, you can ask
us to register it for you during the account application
process.

Q. Can I
create sub-domains?
A. No, not
directly, but we can create unlimited sub-domains for you at a charge of
$10 for 5 sub-domains.

Q. How do I release my domain name
from you ?
A. To release your domain name
from AA Hosting, for use with another ISP/Host, you must email us using
the contact form.
Give your UserID, Password and Domain Name you wish to release, together
with the DNS settings of the ISP/Host you wish to have it transferred to.
By releasing your domain name your hosting account will be closed so make
sure you download any important files first.
